Elizabeth Wolt Murphy

Elizabeth Wolt Attorney Family Law and Collections

Elizabeth (“Beth”) was born and raised in Ohio. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida Magna Cum Laude, in 1994, and was the recipient of the Arthur B. Yellen academic scholarship all four years. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami, Cum Laude, in 1997.

While in Law School she wrote extensively on ADA issues and won the book award in mental health law. She was awarded an Honorable Mention as one of USA Today’s Best and Brightest Students in the country in 1994. An article about her appeared on the cover of the Wall Street Journal on May 7, 1997.

Beth practices family law, civil litigation and all areas of workers’ compensation law and has lectured on many areas including psychiatric claims, child support issues and new law changes to name a few.

She has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1997; she is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Family Law Section and Workers’ Compensation Sections of the Florida Bar; The Lee County Bar Association; and The Lee County Association of Women Lawyers.
